Hello from Brisbane! Since our first full day here was a Saturday, we thought we would check out a farmers’ market. We went to the Jan Power’s Farmers’ Market at the Brisbane Powerhouse. The Brisbane Powerhouse is also currently hosting the World Press Photo Exhibition 2017 (until July 23, 2017). After the market, we walked around New Farm Park, then we took the CityCat to Southbank (post coming soon).
I love how tropical it is up in Brisbane, with all the palms.
These next two signs are so strange, they MUST be part of some art installation. (But we couldn’t find signs). HOW JARRING IS THE RED GO(stop) SIGN?!
Haha, the only stall at the Farmers’ Market that I took photos at was the stall we got lunch from. POTATO PANCAKES! 🙂 Mmmm, well worth the wait.
Brisbane is a riverfront city, and it reminds me of Vancouver (New Westminster specifically) a lot!
The CityCat is a fast(ish) ferry that stops at select stops along the river. It’s a scenic mode of public transportation. They also have slower ferries that make all the stops.
